Icy Hot Loses to MCM (Oct. 24, 2007)

Nancy Bohac scored on a pretty feed from Suzy Bohn, and the Icy Hot team made a strong showing against MCM, matching their shot total 20 to 20, but it wasn't enough to prevent MCM from scoring three goals to win the game, 3-1.

Icy Hot Takes Third in Brainerd Tournament (Oct. 19-21, 2007)

Icy Hot placed third in The Halloween Hockey Hootenanny Tournament held on October 19, 20, and 21 in Brainerd, Minnesota. The team enjoyed a strong showing in their first games in the B2 Division, chalking up two wins against the Lightning, and playing tough in two close losses (1-2 and 0-3) against last year's B2 Division Champs, Mystics. In addition, they played solidly against the only B1 team in the tournament, Northland Thunder of Duluth, losing a tough game 0-5.

The team would like to extend its appreciation to Barb Allen, Julie Blossey, and Sheryl Raithel of Synergy for joining them in Brainerd, and contributing to the fun and success of the weekend.

The Icy Hot Team also thanks its loyal fans and supporters: Videographers Lil and Mari Anne, Rebecca's family, Rosalynn, and others who just came out to cheer. It wouldn't have been the same without you!

Icy Hot Jumps to B2 for 2007-08 Season

With a majority of its players returning from last season, Icy Hot is sharpening its skates in anticipation of the new season — the team's first season playing in the WHAM B2 Division. Moving up with Icy Hot are team captain Sapa Carlson, centers Julie Jorissen and Amy Conzemius, forwards Nancy Bohac, Suzy Bohn, Thora Eriksmoen, and Jen Jorissen, defense Stephanie Kilpatrick and Alison Talley, and goalie Ann Pelletier.
